Grinnell Alum’s SEG Blogpost Earns Mention on Marginal Revolution

SEG’s Gumball Capital contest produced many crazy business plans.

What happens when you give $27 to group of students at Grinnell College (my undergrad) and get them to run a “business” for 10 days to raise money for charity?

Possibly the most creative invention? Cupzzas! Yes, that’s right! Cupcake-shaped pizzas. Seth Gitter, a Grinnell College alumnus, posted about the cupzzas on his blog.

In turn, that post earned SEG mention on the well-read Marginal Revolution blog.

“We just really wanted to shatter the cupcake-pizza dichotomy. It’s just existed for too long.”
