College Students Into Microfinance Lending
SEG was featured in a story on Voice of America about the American college microfinance movement. Broadcast on their “Special English” channel in more than 50 countries, the article featured an SEG partner, the Campus Microfinance Alliance, and two former group members, Jeff Raderstrong and Mark Root-Wiley.
In Iowa, a student microfinance group at Grinnell College helps people both locally and internationally. The group started in two thousand seven. At that time, Grinnell student Jeff Raderstrong and some friends raised more than six hundred dollars from other students.
