SEG Local Loans Program
Although the Social Entrepreneurs of Grinnell began making loans internationally, they became more and more interested in becoming involved with the local community as the organization grew. Now, the Social Entrepreneurs of Grinnell have two local programs: An established Emergency Loans Program that seeks to assist in-need members of the Grinnell Community, and a developing Entrepreneurial Loans Program that seeks to provide resources to entrepreneurs in the Grinnell Community. Both of these programs are premised on the notion that our community is a collective enterprise, in which all members of the community are mutually invested in one another. If [you] have any ideas about how SEG can work with members of our community, whether through giving a loan or some other avenue, let us know.
