Grinnell Professor of Anthropology and Global Development Studies, Monty Roper is running the Chicago Marathon on October 7th in order to raise money for the Social Entrepreneurs of Grinnell. SEG was mentioned in the Scarlet and Black this week, addressing our group’s path toward 501(c)(3) status. This is a great direction in which to move, and hopefully becoming an official non-profit will benefit the group in many ways.
